ISPA Achieves ISO 27001 and ISO 20000 Certifications
ISPA Technology LLC (ISPA) is proud to announce it has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2013 (ISO 27001) and ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 (ISO 20000) certifications. ISPA was issued both certifications from Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc., an independent and accredited certification body, upon successfully completing both audit processes in September 2021.
ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is an information security standard which specifies the requirements for managing and continually improving an organization’s information security management system (ISMS). This management system consists of a set of security controls to protect the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of assets from threats and vulnerabilities. ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 describes a set of management processes designed to help establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve a service management system (SMS). A SMS supports all aspects of the service lifecycle, including the planning, design, transition, delivery, and improvement of services, which deliver value for customers, users and the organization delivering the services.
Both standards were published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the world’s largest developer of voluntary international standards, and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
“Obtaining these certifications demonstrates ISPA’s commitment to delivering the highest level of security management and quality to our customers” said ISPA CEO, Brian Bleeze. “We always strive to continuously improve our processes and are dedicated to information security.”
